Florida Legislative Update
To assist in planning and scheduling as the 2025 Florida Legislative Session approaches, the following dates have been agreed to by the House and Senate. The committee weeks are scheduled for December, January and February.
The Legislature will convene on Nov. 19, 2024, for the exclusive purpose of organization and selection of officers.
2024–2025 INTERIM COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULE:
- Dec. 2 – 6, 2024 (Florida House of Representatives only)
- Dec. 9 – 13, 2024 (Florida Senate only)
- Jan. 13 – 17, 2025
- Jan. 21 – 24, 2025 (Meetings begin on Tuesday due to Monday holiday.)
- Feb. 3 – 7, 2025
- Feb. 10 – 14, 2025
- Feb. 17 – 21, 2025
Opening day of the 2025 Florida Legislative Session is Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
