Veteran Certified Businesses

Florida Veteran Certified Business Enterprises

The Department of Management Services’ Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD) certifies eligible Florida-based veteran-, woman- and minority-owned small businesses. The Office of Supplier Diversity also provides technical assistance, certification support and pertinent information about state contract opportunities, special events and networking activities. State Certified Business Enterprises (CBEs) earn first-tier referrals, meaning that when state agencies seek to increase diversity in their eQuotes and purchase orders, OSD recommends CBEs.

Certified Business Enterprises are listed on OSD’s certified vendor directory, osd.dms.myflorida.com/directories, a resource provided to state purchasing directors, cities, counties, state universities and the private sector.

Certificates are valid in Florida for two years and businesses can quickly and easily renew their certification online.

The Office of Supplier Diversity hosts the Vendor in the Spotlight program. During monthly meetings for state agency procurement professionals, one CBE introduces their business, products and services to these key decision makers in attendance.

To become a Certified Business Enterprise, you must:

1. Register your company in the MyFloridaMarketplace Vendor Information Portal at myfloridamarketplace.com.

2. Submit the required supporting documentation, available on dms.myflorida.com/osd/cert, to the Office of Supplier Diversity via fax, email or regular mail. If you choose to obtain both a Minority/Woman and a Veteran CBE, you must provide the required documents for each category as explained on dms.myflorida.com/osd/cert.
